Allnodes review: non-custodial staking and hosted blockchain nodes

Allnodes lets you stake crypto or run validator nodes, masternodes and full nodes without handing over your keys: Allnodes runs the servers, your coins stay under your control. Hosting an Ethereum validator starts at $5 per month, and staking needs only a free account and a wallet. There is no extra sign-up bonus through our link.

Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated in many countries. You can lose all the money you put in. Not investment advice.

How to get started

  1. Open Allnodes through the link on this page and sign up with an email and password, or with a seed, Ledger or Trezor.
  2. Choose a network and decide between staking (delegating from your wallet) and hosting your own node.
  3. For staking, connect a supported wallet such as Ledger, Trezor, MetaMask, Phantom or Solflare and confirm the delegation in it.
  4. For a hosted node, pick Basic, Advanced or Enterprise, enter your wallet address and fund your balance by card, PayPal, crypto, Alipay or bank transfer.
  5. Optionally connect the Allnodes Bot for node alerts in Telegram or Discord.

What Allnodes does

Allnodes is a blockchain infrastructure platform operated by Allnodes Inc. and running since 2018. It is non-custodial: your keys and coins stay in your own wallet, while Allnodes provides the servers, monitoring, updates and support. It is not an exchange.

What you can do with it:

  • Stake on dozens of proof-of-stake networks by delegating to Allnodes validators from your own wallet.
  • Host validator nodes and masternodes, for example an Ethereum validator, Dash masternode or Rocket Pool minipool, with rewards paid to your own address.
  • Run full and archive nodes for developers and projects that need their own RPC access.
  • Monitor addresses and node rewards, with alerts from the Allnodes Bot.
  • Rent bare-metal servers, including Solana-optimised machines in Frankfurt, Ashburn and Tokyo.

The homepage lists 96 blockchains, more than 25,000 hosted nodes and over $2 billion in hosted value.

Who Allnodes is for

  • Holders who want staking rewards while their coins stay in a hardware or browser wallet. Pair it with a hardware wallet; see the Ledger review.
  • Node operators who own enough coins for a validator or masternode but do not want to run a server 24/7.
  • Developers and teams that need dedicated full or archive nodes, or Solana validator hardware.

For other ways to earn with crypto, see the YouHodler review and our DeFi and crypto earning category; to keep staking income in order for tax season, the Koinly review covers crypto tax reports.

It is not for anyone seeking a guaranteed return: rewards vary by network, and nothing on the site is investment advice.

Allnodes pricing and fees

Staking through Allnodes validators has no subscription; the validator takes a commission from rewards, which differs by network. The Solana validator page shows a 0% fee when we checked.

Why choose Allnodes

One account covers staking, node hosting and monitoring across many networks, and your keys never leave your wallet. Ethereum validators get basic insurance against slashing on every plan (valid if no more than 100 Allnodes nodes are slashed within 24 hours), and the Advanced and Enterprise plans can be tried free for three days.

Risks, refunds and rules

  • No refunds. The terms say payment plans are non-refundable, prepaid Basic time and setup fees included. Charges continue until you remove a node from your portfolio.
  • Unpaid balances cost rewards. If a hosting balance stays negative for 7 days (3 days for seed accounts), Allnodes may collect part of your node's rewards as penalties.
  • Lock-ups and slashing. Staked coins are subject to each network's unbonding period (about 26 hours for SOL on Allnodes), and validators can be penalised by the protocol.
  • Price risk. Crypto prices are volatile and you can lose money even while earning rewards.
  • Eligibility. You must be 18 or older, and Allnodes may run identity and fraud checks.

Frequently asked questions

Is Allnodes legit?

Allnodes is operated by Allnodes Inc. and has been running since 2018. It publishes terms, a pricing page, a help center and a transparency report. Caveat: its terms rule out refunds, and crypto staking carries market and protocol risks.

Is Allnodes custodial?

No. Allnodes is non-custodial: you stake or host from your own wallet and rewards go to your address. When you stake, coins move to the network's staking contract, not to an Allnodes account.

How much does Allnodes cost?

Staking has no subscription; the validator fee depends on the network, and Solana shows 0%. Hosting an Ethereum validator costs $5 per month plus $5 setup on Basic, or $10 per month on Advanced.

Is there an Allnodes promo code?

There is no coupon or extra bonus through our link. Allnodes runs its own promotions from time to time, such as a reduced Enterprise price for Ethereum validators at the time of writing.

Can I get a refund from Allnodes?

Generally no. The terms state that plans, prepaid time and setup fees are non-refundable. You can remove a node at any time to stop future charges.
