DeFi and crypto earning referral programs

This category covers services that let you put crypto to work: on-chain trading apps and front ends for decentralized exchanges, mining pools and mining management software, staking and node services, and platforms that pay interest on deposited assets or lend against them.

How referrals usually work here. Most of these services track referrals with a code or a link that has to be applied when you create your account or connect your wallet. Typical rewards for the newcomer are a fee discount, a share of trading or pool fees returned, a deposit bonus, or extra yield for a limited period. Some platforms attach a code permanently to the first wallet or account it is used with, so applying it later is often impossible.

What to check before signing up:

  • Risk. Yields are not guaranteed. Smart contract bugs, liquidations, leverage, token price swings and platform insolvency can all cause losses, including of the full deposit.
  • Custody. Find out whether you keep your own keys (non-custodial) or hand assets to a company (custodial), and who that company is.
  • Fees and real yield. Compare trading, withdrawal, pool and performance fees with the advertised rate, and check whether rates are fixed or variable.
  • Region and KYC. Many platforms restrict certain countries or require identity verification before withdrawals or bonuses.
  • Bonus conditions. Read the referral terms: minimum deposit or volume, lock-up periods and expiry dates are common.

Each program page lists the specific terms taken from the partner's own pages.

Frequently asked questions

Are DeFi and crypto earning referral bonuses worth it?

They can lower fees or add some yield, but the bonus is small compared with the risk of the underlying product. Choose the platform first and treat the referral reward as a secondary benefit.

Can I add a referral code after I have already signed up?

Usually not. Many platforms bind the code to the account or wallet at registration or first connection, so apply it from the start.

Is my crypto safe on these platforms?

No platform is risk-free. Non-custodial apps carry smart contract and market risk; custodial platforms add counterparty risk if the company fails or freezes withdrawals. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

Do I need to pass KYC to get a referral bonus?

It depends on the platform. Some on-chain apps only need a wallet, while custodial lending and earning services often require identity verification and exclude some countries.
