CoolWallet review: credit-card-sized crypto hardware wallets
CoolWallet makes crypto hardware wallets the size of a credit card: the CoolWallet Pro with a screen, button and Bluetooth, and the battery-free CoolWallet Go that signs by NFC tap. Both keep keys on a CC EAL 6+ secure element and work with a phone app that supports 35+ blockchains, swaps, staking and dApps.
Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated in many countries. You can lose all the money you put in. Not investment advice.
No extra sign-up bonus — the provider's standard offer applies.

How to get started
- Open the CoolWallet store through the link on this page.
- Choose CoolWallet Pro for on-card transaction checks or CoolWallet Go for a battery-free NFC wallet.
- Check out; duties and taxes in your country are paid on delivery by the buyer.
- Install the CoolWallet app on Android 7.0+ or iOS 15.6+ and pair the card.
- Back up the wallet: write down the recovery phrase (Pro) or set up the backup card and keep your pairing password safe (Go).
What CoolWallet offers
CoolWallet is made by CoolBitX, a Taiwanese company that says it has more than 10 years of cold-wallet experience. Its wallets are 0.8 mm thick, credit-card-sized cards that keep private keys on a CC EAL 6+ secure element and work through the CoolWallet app on Android and iOS.
- CoolWallet Pro ($149): a card with a small screen and a physical button, connected by encrypted Bluetooth. You review and confirm each transaction on the card. Rechargeable battery: about 2 weeks at 2 transactions a day, up to 3 months on standby. Backup is a handwritten 12-, 18- or 24-word recovery phrase. 1-year warranty.
- CoolWallet Go ($69): a set of 2 cards (primary and backup) that sign by NFC tap, with no battery, screen or Bluetooth. The backup card can replace a handwritten seed phrase. 2-year warranty, with a lifetime warranty add-on for $39.
Both support 35+ blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron, XRP Ledger, Cardano and Toncoin, plus custom EVM networks, 12,000+ tokens and NFTs. In the app you can buy, swap and stake crypto, use a Web3 browser or WalletConnect, and get Smart Scan warnings on high-risk transactions.

CoolWallet Go or Pro: which one?
| CoolWallet Go | CoolWallet Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $69 (2 cards) | $149 |
| Connection | NFC tap | Encrypted Bluetooth |
| Screen and button | No | Yes |
| Battery | None | Rechargeable |
| Backup | Backup card or handwritten phrase | Handwritten phrase only |
| Warranty | 2 years, lifetime add-on | 1 year |
CoolWallet itself says that the Go, with no screen, cannot show or verify a transaction on the device and is therefore less secure than the Pro. Pick the Go for quick everyday signing with nothing to charge, and the Pro if you want to confirm each transaction on the card.
The Go relies on an 8-digit pairing password that CoolWallet does not store and cannot reset; you need it to restore on a new phone or to promote the backup card. Keep the two cards in separate places: losing both, without a written phrase, means losing access to your funds.

Prices, shipping and accessories
Official store prices in October 2026 (USD):
| Product | Price |
|---|---|
| CoolWallet Pro (standard and artist editions) | $149 |
| CoolWallet Go, 2-card set | $69 |
| CoolWallet Go lifetime warranty | $39 |
| CoolKey steel recovery-phrase backup | $99 |
| Charger set / cardholder | $20 / $13 |

The "from $39" shown for the Go is the lifetime warranty option, which needs a card purchase; the wallet set itself is $69. At the time of writing the store ran a Halloween sale (15% off and free worldwide shipping), and newsletter sign-ups get 8% off a first order. Otherwise shipping is free on orders over $299.
International delivery takes about 7 to 10 days after dispatch. Prices do not include shipping, customs duties or local taxes, which the buyer pays. Orders paid with BitPay are reviewed manually within 1 to 3 business days.
Returns, warranty and risks
- Returns: contact support@coolbitx.com within 7 days of receiving the product, and send it back with all accessories in the original packaging. Refunds go to the original payment method after the return is processed (up to 7 days).
- Damaged or defective items are replaced with the same item.
- Warranty: 12 months for the Pro, 2 years for the Go; the buyer pays shipping for warranty claims, and the warranty covers original purchasers only.
A hardware wallet protects your keys, not the value of your coins. Crypto-assets are volatile and you can lose the money you put in; swaps, staking and futures in the app carry their own risks.
