What is Scrapingdog?

Scrapingdog is a web scraping API run by a team led by co-founders Manthan Koolwal and Darshan Khandelwal. You send a URL or a query to the API and get back the page HTML or structured data, while Scrapingdog manages the parts that usually break scrapers:

  • Rotating proxies – it states a pool of 40M+ rotating proxies across countries and carriers, plus premium proxies and geotargeting.
  • JavaScript rendering – headless Chrome for dynamic, JS-heavy sites.
  • CAPTCHA solving and anti-bot bypass – built in, with fingerprint rotation.
  • Dedicated endpoints – Google (SERP, Maps, News, Shopping, AI Mode and more), Amazon, Walmart, eBay, LinkedIn, YouTube, Bing and others, plus a screenshot API and an AI parser.

Every plan, including the free one, has access to all APIs; the difference between plans is the number of credits and concurrent requests.

Who it's for

Scrapingdog fits developers and teams who want scraped data without running their own proxy pool and browser farm: SEO tools tracking Google results, price and product monitoring on Amazon or Walmart, lead generation from LinkedIn, and AI or data projects that need clean page content. Light users may get by on the free credits or Lite; plans scale to hundreds of millions of credits per month.

Pricing at a glance

Plan Monthly price Credits per month Concurrency
Free $0 100 1
Lite $40 200,000 5
Standard $90 1,000,000 50
Pro $200 3,000,000 100
Premium $350 6,000,000 150
Business $500 9,000,000 200

Larger Business, Corporate, Enterprise and higher tiers go up to $30,000 per month. Annual billing is priced at ten months for twelve. Geotargeting starts with Lite; unused credits roll over from Standard upward.

Credits per request depend on the endpoint:

  • 1 credit: rotating proxy request, Amazon search/product, Yelp, Indeed
  • 5 credits: JS rendering, most Google endpoints (Light SERP, Maps, News and others), YouTube, Walmart, eBay, Bing, screenshots
  • 10 credits: premium proxy, country targeting, AI parser, Google Advanced SERP, AI Mode, Images, Shopping
  • 25 credits: JS rendering with premium proxy, LinkedIn posts
  • 50 credits: profile scraper

So 200,000 Lite credits mean 200,000 basic requests but only 8,000 requests that need JS rendering plus premium proxies. Scrapingdog says failed, blocked and timed-out requests are credited back.

Refunds, cancellation and the terms

  • No refunds once the service is provided. The terms say there are no refunds for payments made once services have been rendered, and amounts paid are non-refundable.
  • Cancel yourself. Cancelling an active subscription is the customer's responsibility; if you cancel after a new billing cycle starts, that cycle is charged.
  • Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period when you cancel or downgrade, and plan changes are not prorated.
  • Billing disputes must be raised in writing within 15 days.
  • Governing law is that of Rajasthan, India.

Scrapingdog affiliate program

Anyone with an audience can join Scrapingdog's affiliate program, which runs on FirstPromoter. It pays 25% commission on all plans, recurring for 12 months per referred customer, capped at $5,000 over the lifetime of one customer. Payouts go out on the 1st of each month via PayPal only, with a $50 minimum; smaller balances roll to the next month. Affiliates whose payouts exceed $1,000 are subject to KYC by the affiliate manager. Self-referral is banned and leads to account blocking, and if no new approved sale comes in within 3 months of the last one, payments are frozen pending manual review. PayPal does not serve some countries, such as Russia.
