Scrape.do

Scrape.do referral link and review

Scrape.do is a web scraping API that handles proxy rotation, headers, CAPTCHAs and JavaScript rendering behind a single request, and only charges credits for successful responses. A free plan gives 1,000 credits a month without a credit card, and paid plans start at $29/month. Scrape.do does not advertise an extra bonus for customers who join through a referral link, so this page covers pricing, credit costs and the rules to know before paying.

  2. Create a free account; no credit card is required and you get 1,000 successful API credits with 5 concurrent requests.
  3. Copy your API token from the dashboard and send a test request with the token and url parameters.
  4. Check the Scrape.do-Request-Cost response header to see how many credits your target actually uses.
  5. Upgrade to a paid plan (card, crypto, or bank wire above $500/month) once you know your volume.

What is Scrape.do?

Scrape.do is a web scraping toolkit operated by PACKEND, LLC. Its main product is the Web Scraping API: you send the target URL with your token, and Scrape.do handles proxy rotation, WAF and CAPTCHA bypass, header and TLS fingerprint rotation and, on request, headless-browser rendering.

Also available: Ready Scraper APIs (parsed JSON for sites such as Google Search, Amazon and YouTube) and Scrapeman, a free open-source API client. Proxies and a Scraping Browser are listed as coming soon.

API options include geoCode country targeting (160+ countries), sessionId for sticky IPs, output=markdown and a Proxy Mode. Docs cover cURL, Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Java, C# and PHP.

Who it's for

Scrape.do fits developers and data teams who want to fetch public pages at scale without running their own proxy pool and headless browsers, for jobs like price monitoring or search result collection. Billing is per successful request, not per GB. The standalone proxy product is not launched yet.

Pricing at a glance

Plan Monthly Successful credits Concurrency
Free $0 1,000 5
Hobby $29 250,000 10
Pro $99 1,250,000 50
Business $249 3,500,000 100
Advanced $699 10,000,000 200
Enterprise Custom Unlimited Unlimited

Annual billing costs 10 months' price for 12 months (for example $290/year for Hobby) and is set up manually through chat or support@scrape.do. Every plan includes datacenter, residential and mobile proxies, JavaScript rendering, geo-targeting, sticky sessions and unlimited bandwidth. Higher tiers add priority or dedicated support, team management (Business) and custom WAF bypass strategies with a Slack channel (Advanced).

There is no pay-as-you-go overage: when monthly credits run out, requests stop until you upgrade or buy more credits.

How credits are counted

A plan's credit count is not its page count. Standard costs per successful request:

  • Datacenter (default): 1 credit
  • render=true (headless browser): 5 credits
  • super=true (residential/mobile IPs): 10 credits
  • super=true + render=true: 25 credits

Some domains have fixed costs, e.g. google.* 10, linkedin.com 30, shopee.* 100 and sainsburys.co.uk 200 credits. Failed requests, timeouts and blocks are free, but 400, 404 and 410 responses count as successful.

Refunds and account rules

  • Refunds: first subscription only, within 3 days of purchase, unused credits only; card processing commission may be deducted. A forgotten renewal can be refunded in full within 3 days or 50% within 15 days.
  • Cancellation: any time from the dashboard; no long-term commitment.
  • Age: users must be 18 or older.
  • Prohibited: card testing, fake account creation, vulnerability scanning, credential cracking, multiple free accounts — suspension without refund.

Scrape.do affiliate program terms

Scrape.do runs a free affiliate program through FirstPromoter. It pays 25% recurring on Hobby, Pro, Business and Advanced plans and 10% on Custom and Enterprise, for up to 12 months per referred customer. Minimum payout is $100, paid every 30 days. Referred customers may be checked for fraud, affiliates may be asked for a KYC form, and self-referrals lead to a ban. See the affiliate page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Scrape.do referral code or promo code?

The referral link on this page is tracked automatically by Scrape.do's affiliate system, so there is no code to enter. Scrape.do does not advertise a discount or extra credits for referred customers; the free plan with 1,000 credits is available to everyone.

Is Scrape.do legit?

Scrape.do is operated by PACKEND, LLC under US law, publishes terms of use with a refund policy, public plan prices and per-request credit costs, and offers support at support@scrape.do. One caveat: refunds are narrow (first subscription, within 3 days, unused credits only), so test on the free plan before paying.

How much does Scrape.do cost?

There is a free plan with 1,000 credits a month. Paid plans are Hobby at $29, Pro at $99, Business at $249 and Advanced at $699 per month, with custom Enterprise pricing. Annual billing gives 12 months for the price of 10.

How many pages can I scrape with a plan?

It depends on the request type. A basic datacenter request costs 1 credit, a rendered one 5, a residential one 10 and a residential rendered one 25, and some domains have their own fixed cost. Hobby's 250,000 credits equal 10,000 residential rendered requests.

Do failed requests use credits?

No. Timeouts, blocks and errors are not charged. Responses with status 2xx, 400, 404 and 410 count as successful, and if a 200 response has invalid content you can ask support to return the credits.
