Rytr referral link: 20% discount and review

What is Rytr?

Rytr started as an AI writing tool and now describes itself as an AI assistant for relationships and writing. It has two products:

• Create is the writing tool. It offers 40 writing use cases, 22 tones and a personal voice option, writes in many languages, and can generate up to three drafts at once. It also rewrites, shortens and expands text.
• Engage keeps track of people and commitments. It pulls context from your email, Slack, calendar and meeting notes into one profile per person. It gives you daily briefings, meeting prep, follow-up drafts and an alert when a contact goes quiet. Rytr states that nothing is sent without your approval.

Integrations listed on the site: Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Granola and text messaging. Rytr can text your briefs via iMessage or SMS. A browser extension adds Create to any text box and Engage features to Gmail, Slack and LinkedIn.

Who it's for

• Writers, marketers and small businesses who need short-form copy, emails, posts and rewrites in several tones and languages.
• Founders, salespeople and anyone who manages many contacts and wants briefings and follow-up reminders built from their inbox, Slack and calendar.
• People who just want to try AI writing. The Free plan covers 10,000 characters a month with no payment required.

Pricing at a glance

All plans include a daily briefing and the 40+ writing use cases. Pro adds morning and evening briefings and custom use cases. Yearly billing is 20% cheaper than monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

Referral discount and affiliate program

Rytr's affiliate page says its affiliates get an exclusive 20% discount for their audience. The link on this page is such an affiliate link, so the discount applies to a paid plan bought through it. The page does not say whether it covers renewals.

Anyone with an audience can apply to the Rytr affiliate program. Its published terms:

• 30% recurring commission on referred customers' payments for 12 months, with no cap on earnings
• 60-day cookie
• $15 activation bonus, plus $30 at 250 referrals and $100 at 1,000 referred customers
• Payouts by PayPal only, once earnings exceed $100 and you have referred more than one customer
• Commissions are paid on the first working day of the month, 30 days after the transaction
• No paid ads that bid on the Rytr brand; any paid campaign must add Rytr brand terms as negative keywords, or the account can be suspended

Refunds, renewals and account rules

• Refunds: Rytr's terms state that subscriptions cannot be refunded. Some refund requests may be considered case by case, at the company's sole discretion. Use the Free plan first.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically on the same conditions. To stop renewal, the terms say to email support@rytr.me; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Who can use it: you must be of legal age to form a binding contract. Users may not be in a country under a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
