Botpress describes itself as an AI-native customer support platform. Instead of simple FAQ deflection, it targets tickets where the agent has to act: update an account, correct an order, process a refund, or escalate to a human with the conversation context attached.

How AI spend works. AI usage is the cost of calling an LLM. Each conversation includes $0.10 of AI usage covered by Botpress. When a workspace reaches 95% of its AI spend limit, a $10 credit grant is bought automatically; unused grants carry over for up to 12 months. On paid plans the $10 size and 95% trigger are not configurable yet, so keep an eye on usage.
Billing, cancellation and legal terms
- Who you contract with: Technologies Botpress Inc. (Canadian corporation) for customers in Canada; Botpress, Inc. (Delaware company) for everyone else.
- Cancellation: delete your account in the interface. Usage fees paid in advance are not refunded on early termination, except under Botpress's refund policy.
- Price changes need at least 30 days' notice; taxes are not included in listed prices.
- Enterprise plans renew automatically for 12 months unless notice is given 30 days before renewal.
- Export limits: the software may not be exported to prohibited jurisdictions.
