Klap referral link: AI video clipping, pricing and affiliate terms

What is Klap?

Klap is an AI video clipping service operated by ZIGG SAS (doing business as Klap), a company registered in France. You give it a long video, either a YouTube link or an uploaded file, and it finds the most interesting topics, cuts them into short vertical clips and adds captions.

Main features listed on klap.app:

• AI editing: picks the strongest moments of a long video and edits them into separate clips.
• Auto reframing: keeps the main subject in frame when converting to vertical; the AI Reframe 2 update adds layouts such as split screen, screencast and gaming.
• Captions: designed subtitles driven by facial recognition, plus suggested post captions and a score for each clip's viral potential.
• Branding: your own fonts, colors, logos and framing.
• Publish and schedule: post or schedule clips directly to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• 52 languages for transcription and editing, including English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and Hindi.

For automation there is a public API, an MCP server, connectors for ChatGPT and Claude, and integrations with Zapier, Make and n8n.

Who Klap is for

Klap says it works best with speech-heavy content: podcasts, interviews, educational videos, product reviews and trainings. That makes it a fit for podcasters, YouTubers, coaches and marketing teams who want to repurpose one long recording into many short posts without manual editing. As a rough guide, the site says a one-minute video yields about five clips.

It is less suited to footage with little talking, since topic detection and captions are built around speech.

Klap pricing at a glance

All plans are priced by the number of clips per month ("only pay for clips you generate"). Prices shown on the pricing page when billed yearly:

Every plan includes AI clipping, unlimited connected social accounts and analytics. Monthly billing is also available and costs more; the pricing page says yearly billing saves up to 50%. For volumes above Pro+, Klap asks you to contact them on Discord. Before paying you can create one video for free, with no credit card required.

Refunds and cancellation

The Terms of Service (French law applies) include a fairly generous refund section:

• You can request a refund before the end of your first month of subscription if you are not satisfied.
• If you did not use the service, you can request a refund for up to the last three consecutive months of non-usage.
• On yearly plans, a full refund is only available within the first month; after that, partial refunds are prorated at 1/12 of the annual price per month, for up to three zero-usage months.

Refunds are requested from the billing page after cancelling. You are responsible for having the rights to any video you submit.

Klap referral and affiliate program

There is no extra sign-up discount for visitors coming through a referral link; you get the same free trial and prices as everyone else.

Klap also runs a public affiliate program that anyone can join from klap.app/affiliate:

• Commission: 30% of each subscription payment, every month, for as long as the referred customer stays subscribed.
• Tracking: each affiliate gets a personal link and a dashboard showing visits and sales.
• Payouts: by PayPal once earnings reach $20.
• Questions: via Discord or live chat.

Payouts are PayPal-only, so you need a PayPal account that can receive money in your country. PayPal does not serve residents of Russia, for example, so affiliates there would need a PayPal account registered elsewhere. Separate affiliate terms and conditions are linked from the affiliate page.
