GetTransfer review: book private transfers and compare driver offers
GetTransfer is an online marketplace for private transfers: you post a ride request and independent drivers and carriers send offers with their price and photos of the actual car. It is run by KG GLOBAL LIMITED in Cyprus and says it covers 180+ countries. It suits travellers who want a pre-booked car from an airport, station or hotel and like to compare prices.
No extra sign-up bonus — the provider's standard offer applies.

How to get started
- Open GetTransfer through the link on this page.
- Enter pick-up and destination (or start and end time for an hourly ride), vehicle class, passengers, child seats and luggage.
- Add your contact details and place the request.
- Compare the carrier offers: price, car photos, rating and completed rides.
- Choose Saver or Flexible access, then pay to confirm the transfer.
What GetTransfer does for you
GetTransfer.com is a booking platform that connects passengers with independent transport providers. Instead of a fixed tariff, it uses a tender model: you describe the trip, carriers registered on the platform reply with offers, and you accept one. The transport contract is then between you and that carrier; GetTransfer acts as the intermediary.
What you can book:
- one-way and return transfers, including airport transfers;
- hourly chauffeur hire for meetings, sightseeing or your own route;
- vehicle classes from Economy, Comfort and Business to Premium, VIP, SUV, Van, Minibus and Bus;
- parcel delivery by a driver;
- on its wider site: car hire, yacht charter and experiences.
GetTransfer says it has 200,000+ vehicles and serves 180+ countries. The service is operated by KG GLOBAL LIMITED (Nicosia, Cyprus), with related companies in Hong Kong and Dubai. There are iOS and Android apps.
Who GetTransfer is for
- Travellers who want a pre-booked private car from an airport, station or hotel.
- Groups needing a van, minibus or bus.
- Price comparers who want several carriers' offers for the same trip.
- Business travellers who need hourly chauffeur hire for meetings.
- Senders who need a parcel delivered by a driver.
GetTransfer pricing: how offers work
There is no fixed or minimum price. Each carrier sets its own price for your request, and you see it, with photos of the actual car, before paying. According to GetTransfer, the price includes:
- free waiting time: 60 minutes at airports and sea or river ports, 30 minutes at railway stations, 15 minutes elsewhere;
- fuel and road tolls, if any.
Extra waiting or driving beyond the agreed trip is billed at the carrier's rates within five days after the ride. You choose the display currency; conversion uses the exchange rate at the moment the offer is sent, and your bank may still charge in another currency or add fees. Some carriers accept cash, but only when their offer says so.
Saver vs Flexible: cancellation and refunds
Every account gets one of two access levels, and this decides whether you can cancel:
| Saver (default) | Flexible (paid) | |
|---|---|---|
| Free cancellation | No | Up to the agreed pick-up time |
| Support | Chat and email, 8:00-20:00 GMT+2, English | 24/7 by phone, chat, messengers, email, any site language |
- The Flexible fee itself is not refundable, and Flexible is not available if you pay less than 24 hours before pick-up; such rides are Saver bookings with no refund on cancellation.
- Refunds usually arrive as credit in your GetTransfer account; a bank refund is possible only in limited cases, such as after a force majeure event ends.
- If the carrier or GetTransfer cancels, you are refunded unless another carrier completes the ride.
- No-show: if you don't appear within the free waiting time (5 minutes for rides booked within 30 minutes of pick-up), nothing is refunded.
- Cash payments must be claimed back from the carrier, not GetTransfer.
- Changing the time, route, passenger count or class counts as a cancellation.
Good to know: limits and verification
- You must be of legal age in the country of the trip to book on your own.
- GetTransfer does not do business with people from a list of sanctioned territories, including Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and with people on sanctions lists.
- Under its Know Your Client policy it may ask for a passport or ID and proof of residence.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a GetTransfer promo code?
No promo code or discount is published for new customers. You get the carrier offers for your trip, and the price shown is the price you pay.
Is GetTransfer legit?
GetTransfer is operated by KG GLOBAL LIMITED, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus, and publishes a service agreement, privacy, KYC and sanctions policies. It is a marketplace, so the ride is provided by an independent carrier: check the offer's rating, and note that Saver bookings cannot be refunded on cancellation.
Can I cancel a GetTransfer booking for free?
Only with Flexible access, which you choose and pay for before booking; then you can cancel up to the agreed pick-up time. Saver bookings, and any ride paid less than 24 hours before pick-up, are not refunded if you cancel.
How long will a GetTransfer driver wait?
Free waiting is 60 minutes at airports and ports, 30 minutes at railway stations and 15 minutes elsewhere. If your flight is delayed more than an hour, contact support.
What is included in the GetTransfer price?
Free waiting time, fuel and road tolls. Extra waiting or driving is charged at the carrier's rates after the trip.
Is GetTransfer cheaper than a taxi?
Prices are set by carriers per request, so there is no fixed answer. Comparing several offers for the same trip helps you find a good price.
