What is Workzilla?

Workzilla is a remote-work marketplace that matches small, one-off tasks with freelancers within minutes. Categories include development and IT, advertising and social media, design, audio and video, texts and translation, and simple tasks that need no special skills (finding information, calling a client list, filling in a spreadsheet).

The homepage states 896,000 freelancers, 4.9 million completed tasks, 35 seconds to the first response on a task and 17 years of operation. A neural network shortlists candidates for each task based on their rating and history, and the customer picks one. Customers can also publish job vacancies for longer-term hires. Mobile apps are listed for the App Store, Google Play, AppGallery and RuStore.

Pricing: how much does Workzilla cost?

Workzilla has no tariff plans for customers. You set the price for each task yourself (the site suggests popular price points per category) and pay only after you are satisfied with the result.

Freelancers need a paid subscription to access tasks; the public pages do not state its price. Freelancer withdrawals go to verified e-wallets (YooMoney is listed) and bank cards, with a 5% fee for cards, three days after the request.

Who it's for, and limits

• Customers with small, well-defined tasks who want a fixed price they choose and payment only on acceptance.
• Beginner freelancers: the site says most tasks need no high qualification and its AI selection lets newcomers get work.
• Experienced freelancers looking for complex paid tasks unlocked by a higher rating.

Limits to know before signing up:

• It is a Russian platform: the interface is Russian and amounts are in rubles.
• Freelancers must pass passport identification, mandatory tests and pay a subscription before accessing tasks.
• Partner payouts to a phone go only to Russian mobile numbers (MTS, Beeline, MegaFon, Tele2).

Guarantees and disputes

• Protected payment: the fee is frozen on the customer's balance and released to the freelancer only after the customer confirms the result.
• Money-back guarantee: advertised on the homepage if the result does not satisfy the customer.
• Arbitration: either side can file a dispute; it can also release payment if the work is done and the customer stops responding.

Workzilla partner program

Any registered Workzilla user can join the partner program from the "Partner" tab of their account. According to the partner page:

• Everyone who registers through your partner link becomes your referral.
• You earn 7% to 18% of what referrals pay: task orders, published vacancies and the commissions freelancers pay.
• Income accrues for one year from the referral's registration, up to 5,000 RUB per referral.
• A statistics tab shows each referral, the sub-tag they came from and the commission credited; you can add sub-tags (for example email or blog) to your link to track sources.
• The partner balance cannot be reduced or reset, and you can withdraw at any time, including weekly automatic payouts to a verified Russian mobile number with no fee.
• Attracting users through contextual (PPC) advertising is prohibited.
