What is RoseHosting?

RoseHosting is the brand of Rose Web Services LLC, a US company based in St. Louis, Missouri, that says it has been helping businesses since 2001. It focuses on fully managed Linux hosting: the support team handles server and software troubleshooting 24/7 at no extra charge.

Products: managed NVMe VPS (dedicated Intel Xeon cores, DDR5 ECC RAM, PCIe 4.0 NVMe), dedicated servers sold as fractions or a full machine, shared hosting, and managed WordPress, Magento, Odoo and Nextcloud hosting. Servers run in a redundant N+1 data center in St. Louis; no other locations are listed.

Who it's for

RoseHosting fits small businesses, agencies and site owners who want a Linux server without being the sysadmin. Every VPS plan includes root access, AlmaLinux, Debian or Ubuntu, a free control panel (DirectAdmin starter or Hestia; cPanel/WHM at a discount), free SSL, a dedicated IP, unlimited migrations and unmetered data transfer.

It is not a budget host: if you only need a cheap unmanaged VPS and can run it yourself, it will cost far more than you need. Some uses are also banned (see limits below).

RoseHosting pricing at a glance

Paying yearly saves about 10%. RoseHosting advertises a fixed price with no increase on renewal.

Uptime SLA, refunds and limits

  • Uptime SLA. RoseHosting promises 100% uptime and credits 10 times the downtime: each hour of unscheduled downtime earns a credit worth 10 hours of service. Credits, not cash; the account must be in good standing.
  • Refunds. The Terms of Service allow a refund if you request cancellation within the first 30 days after the service is set up. After that, payments are final. Domains, SSL certificates, control panel licenses and cloud balance refills are never refunded.
  • Verification. You need a phone number that can receive SMS for account verification, and RoseHosting runs fraud checks; flagged orders may not be processed. The terms don't describe ID document (KYC) checks.
  • Who can sign up. You must be 18 or older. Missouri law and binding arbitration apply.
  • Banned uses. Spam, coin miners, IRC servers and bots, public proxies and public VPNs, crypto-related sites, gambling, pornography and pirated software.
