What is Replit?

Replit describes itself as "the AI platform that helps you turn your ideas into real outcomes." You describe an app, website, dashboard, landing page, prototype or chatbot in plain language, and Replit's Agent builds it. The pitch on the homepage is "Turn ideas into apps in minutes — no coding needed."

What comes with the platform:

Agent – the AI builder, with Plan mode and full builds on paid plans. Pro allows up to 10 agents running in parallel.
Built-in services – authentication, database, hosting and monitoring, offered with "zero setup."
Integrations – 100+ listed, including OpenAI, Stripe and Google Workspace.
Free mode – lets you create without token costs, within plan limits.

Who it's for

Replit pitches itself to founders, product managers, designers, engineers, operations and IT teams. In practice the plans split like this:

Starter (free) – trying the Agent and publishing one small app.
Core – "personal projects and simple apps."
Pro – "commercial and professional builds," with collaborators and viewers.
Enterprise – organisations that need SSO, SCIM, audit logs and private networking.

On top of the plan, Replit bills usage-based charges for publishing and production databases: outbound data transfer, Autoscale compute units and requests. Core includes 100 GiB of outbound transfer. Free Starter plan limits

Starter costs nothing, but it is limited:

Agent credits reset daily, with a monthly cap.
Only Lite build. Full build, Plan Mode, third-party connectors and Replit AI Integrations need Core.
One published app, and its link goes down automatically after 30 days.
Published apps show a "Made with Replit" badge, which only Core removes.

Replit referral program terms

Per Replit's referral page:

A new user who joins through a referral link gets $20 in Replit credits once they become a paying customer.
The referrer gets $20 in credits for each new paying customer, applied instantly. Replit's examples: 5 friends on Core earn $100, 50 friends earn $1,000.
Rewards are credits only, not cash.
Any user can find their own link under account settings → Promotions and referrals. Replit's docs say that free users must upgrade to Core to unlock referral credits they have earned.
Replit states that the terms may change at any time at its discretion and that no guarantees are made.

The page does not mention a cap on referrals or an expiry date for the credits.

Refunds and restrictions

Refunds: the Terms of Service allow full refunds on subscription payments made within 30 days of purchase, and only for the most recent subscription charge. Usage-based charges are non-refundable.
Cancellation: any time from the Account page.
Age: users must be at least 13. Under-18s need a parent's or guardian's permission.
Region: Replit lists no country list, but the service cannot be used in violation of US export control or sanctions laws.
