PingPing referral link: uptime monitoring from €6/month

What is PingPing?

PingPing calls itself "the simplest uptime monitoring service in the world". It does three things for each website you add:

• Uptime checks. Every check cycle it sends an HTTPS request to your site from one of its monitoring locations and records whether the site responds, the HTTP status code and the response time.
• SSL certificate monitoring. It watches the certificate and warns you before it expires.
• Response time tracking, so slowdowns are visible before they become outages.

If a check fails, PingPing immediately re-checks from a second location on the other side of the world before alerting.

Each website gets a multi-language status page, public or private, with optional custom domain, showing live status, uptime statistics and past downtimes. A REST API and unlimited team members are included.

Newmatter acquired PingPing from its founders in February 2025.

Who it's for

PingPing fits freelancers, agencies, solo founders and small teams who want to know when a website goes down or a certificate is about to expire, without configuring a full observability stack. Because every plan has the same features and unlimited team members, an agency can add clients' sites and share alerts with the whole team, and pay only for the number of websites monitored.

It monitors websites and SSL certificates only; server metrics, logs or on-call scheduling need other tools.

PingPing pricing at a glance

Prices are in euros, excluding VAT, billed monthly. All features are included on every plan; you only choose how many websites to monitor.

Yearly billing gives 12 months for the price of 11. Check intervals range from every 30 seconds to 1–30 minutes, 1–8 hours or daily, set per website.

The free trial lasts 14 days, covers up to 5 websites with all features, and needs no credit card. If you don't upgrade, monitoring stops but your data is kept. There is no permanent free plan.

Payments, refunds and limits

• Operator. The service is operated by Newmatter B.V., and its terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
• Payment. Orders are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record; you can pay by credit card or PayPal.
• Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You can cancel renewal from your account page or by contacting support.
• Refunds. Refund requests are considered case by case at Newmatter's discretion; there is no automatic money-back guarantee in the terms.
• SMS. Not bundled: you connect and pay for your own Vonage account.
• Region. The site does not state country restrictions.

PingPing referral program terms

PingPing runs a public referral program that anyone can join for free. According to its referral program page:

• Affiliates earn 20% of every subscription payment, recurring, for the lifetime of the referred customer's subscription, with no earnings cap.
• The referral cookie lasts 60 days: a visitor who clicks a link and signs up within that window is credited.
• Commissions become available 60 days after each payment, once the refund window has closed, and are paid via PayPal or Wise on request from the affiliate dashboard.

The affiliate terms forbid self-referrals (permanent ban and forfeited commission), posting fake discounts on coupon sites, search engine ads on branded terms, Facebook ads, and impersonating PingPing. PingPing may end participation at any time.

For a customer, signing up through a referral link doesn't change the price or the trial: you get the same 14-day trial and the same plans as everyone else.
