DMarket referral link and review
DMarket is a marketplace for buying, selling and trading in-game items for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 and Rust. Buyers pay no platform fee and sellers pay 2–10% depending on the game and item liquidity. DMarket does not advertise a bonus for users who join through a referral link, so this page covers fees, payments and the rules to check before you deposit.
No extra sign-up bonus via this link — the provider's standard terms apply.
Referral link disclosure: the button above is our referral link. If you sign up through it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The bonus and terms are set by DMarket and can change — check them on the official site before you sign up.
How to get started
- Open DMarket through the referral link on this page; the referral code is already in the URL, so there is nothing to type.
- Sign in with Steam or create a DMarket account, and turn on Steam Guard so trades are not put on hold.
- Connect your Steam inventory if you want to sell or trade items you already own.
- Top up your balance with a card, Payoneer, Bitcoin, USDC or another listed method; card deposits require KYC.
- Buy, sell or trade skins, then withdraw items to Steam or funds to a payout method.
What is DMarket?
DMarket is an in-game items marketplace connected to Steam. It covers four games: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 and Rust. You can:
- Buy skins listed by other users, often below Steam Community Market prices (the site advertises "up to -50% off Steam prices").
- Sell items from your Steam inventory for balance that can be withdrawn as money.
- Trade items for other items on the exchange page.
- Place Targets, standing buy orders that sellers can fill at your price.
- Use Face2Face (F2F) selling and a Trading API for automated buying and selling.
DMarket states that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation.
Who it's for
DMarket fits players who want to turn unused skins into cash, buyers looking for items under Steam Market prices, and traders who use buy orders or the Trading API. You must be 18 or older, and users in Russia and Belarus can't trade.
DMarket fees
Buying carries no DMarket fee, including purchases through Targets. Sellers and traders pay a fee that depends on the game:
| Transaction | CS2 | Dota 2 | TF2 | Rust |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Market sale | 2%* | 5% | 5% | 5% |
| Trade | 2.5% | 2% | 2% | 2% |
| Face2Face sale | 4% | 4% | 4% | 4% |
*For low-priced or low-liquidity CS2 items the sell fee can be 10%, and some items have reduced fees down to 1%. The listing screen shows the exact amount you will receive before you confirm.
DMarket charges no deposit or withdrawal fee of its own, but payment systems do. The homepage lists these examples for the US:
- Credit card: up to $1,500 per transaction, 0.25% + $0.35
- Payoneer: up to $1,000 per transaction, 0%
- Bitcoin and USDC (Solana, Ethereum, Base): up to $3,500 per transaction, 1.5%
Methods and fees vary by country.
Payments, KYC and restrictions
- Withdrawals go to Payoneer, Skrill, PayPal, bank card, wire, SEPA and methods processed by Tipalti. Payoneer, Skrill and PayPal take up to 48 hours; card, wire and SEPA up to 7 working days.
- KYC is required for card deposits and some USD withdrawals: a passport or national ID (driver's licence only for US citizens), a selfie holding the ID with a note reading "DMarket" and the date, and sometimes proof of address. Review usually takes up to 24 hours.
- Steam trade holds can last up to 15 days. New Steam accounts must have spent at least $5 on Steam before they can trade, and DMarket declines trades that would be put on hold.
- Regions: people from Russia and Belarus can't trade, deposit or withdraw; their accounts are frozen with assets kept. Residents of US-sanctioned countries may also be refused.
- Refunds: the terms state that DMarket does not refund in-game item transactions and that fees are non-refundable.

Any DMarket user can join the affiliate program after signing in, get a personal link and share it. The affiliate earns 20% of DMarket's income from each purchase and sale made by users who followed the link, while the program is switched on. Trades of high-demand items with decreased fees are excluded. The page does not state a payout minimum, payout method or how long a referral stays attributed.
