What is Coinpanda?

Coinpanda describes itself as a crypto tax assistant: it collects transactions from your accounts, calculates gains and income, and produces reports you can file or hand to an accountant. According to its homepage it supports:

• 900+ wallets and exchanges and 150+ blockchains, connected via API, address or CSV import;
• 2,000+ DeFi protocols, plus an NFT overview;
• automatic historical prices for 300,000+ cryptocurrencies;
• tax reports for 65+ countries.

The same dashboard doubles as a portfolio tracker. Reports available to every country include a Complete Tax Report, a Highest Balance Report, a Transaction History CSV and a Capital Gains CSV. Country forms listed in the help center include IRS Form 8949, Schedule D and Schedule 1 (USA), CRA Schedule 3 (Canada), Formulaire 2042C (France), Skatteverket K4 (Sweden) and Skatteetaten RF-1159B (Norway); the help center says this list is not complete.

Who it's for

Coinpanda fits anyone who has to report crypto gains and has more activity than a spreadsheet can handle: traders on several exchanges, DeFi and NFT users, and holders who want their whole portfolio in one place. Because import and review are free, you can confirm your exchanges, wallets and country forms are supported before paying anything.

Coinpanda pricing at a glance

All plans are billed yearly and include reports for all tax years, portfolio tracking, unlimited integrations and custom imports. The difference is the transaction limit.

Only transactions from the previous calendar year count toward the limit, and each buy, sell, trade, receive, send or transfer counts as one. Going over costs $0.69 per 100 extra transactions, or you can upgrade by paying the price difference. Payment is by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Google Pay via Stripe. Refunds and account limits

Coinpanda's terms say payments are final and non-refundable unless Coinpanda decides otherwise. Its help center allows a refund on a paid tax plan only when all three conditions are met:

• the request is sent within 7 days of purchase;
• the reason is a technical bug or issue support could not solve in reasonable time;
• you have not downloaded any tax reports or tax forms.

So use the free preview to check your data before you pay. The terms also require users to be 18 or older and not prohibited from using Coinpanda under United States law.

Coinpanda referral and affiliate program

Any Coinpanda user gets a default referral link with a reduced commission; to earn the full rates you accept the affiliate terms and join the affiliate program. Its published terms:

• 20% on first purchases and 10% on re-purchases for 0-100 referrals, 30% and 15% for 101-500, 40% and 20% above 500.
• 7-day cookie: the referral counts if the visitor creates an account within seven days of clicking.
• $100 minimum payout, paid via PayPal; crypto payouts are planned. PayPal payouts are not available in Russia.
• Commissions are locked for 30 days, payouts can be requested every 30 days, and processing takes up to 14 days.
• No spam with affiliate links and no bidding on ads that compete with Coinpanda; spamming terminates the account.
