Highest paying URL shorteners: rates, payouts and what visitors see
Looking for the highest paying URL shortener? On published rates DropLink lists the biggest numbers almost everywhere, AdFoc.us pays well for first visits from the US and Western Europe, Cuty.io and Exe.io pay $18 for the US with adjustable ads or on-demand withdrawals, Clk.sh has the clearest rules, and FC.LC pays daily from $3. Here is what your visitors go through and what 1,000 clicks really pays.
Earnings depend on traffic quality; artificial clicks get accounts banned.

Which paying link shortener should you pick?
All six show your visitor an ad step before the destination and pay per 1,000 counted visits, by the visitor's country:
- DropLink if most of your audience is outside the US and Western Europe: $9 per 1,000 views worldwide, $10 for Indonesia and Mexico, $20 for the US. It is also the vaguest about which views count.
- AdFoc.us if your traffic is mostly first-time visitors from the US, Canada, the UK or Australia: a US first visit pays $19.25 per 1,000, but repeat visits and low-tier countries pay little.
- Cuty.io if you want one flat rate per country (US $18, UK $15, other countries $4.50) and control over how aggressive the ads are.
- Exe.io if you want the same top rates as Cuty.io with withdrawals from $5 whenever you pass the minimum, minus a 3% fee.
- Clk.sh if you want clear visit rules and a $5 minimum. Rates sit lower: US $15, worldwide $3.
- FC.LC if you want the lowest threshold: $3, paid daily, including to Payeer, WebMoney and crypto. Most countries pay $3.55 to $6.50.
None of them creates traffic: they turn traffic you already have into a few dollars per thousand clicks.
What visitors see when they click a paid short link
Before your file or page, visitors land on an ad page, usually with a countdown, a "get link" button and sometimes a captcha. On Clk.sh, per its FAQ, the visitor passes a captcha, goes through pages with a countdown of about 15 seconds and clicks Get link. Exe.io counts a view only after the visitor stays 6 seconds. Cuty.io lets you choose how intense the ads are; FC.LC says its pages are easy to skip; DropLink promises no pop-up ads but doesn't describe its steps.
Ad steps on paid shorteners are often heavy: several pages, pop-ups or new tabs, and ads that look like download buttons. Click your own link once from a clean browser (only once: self-clicks are not paid and can flag your account) and decide whether you are comfortable sending people through it. Visitors who give up usually don't pay, so paid links suit one-off downloads better than links for regular readers.
How to compare paying URL shorteners: what we compared
Facts come from each service's public rates, homepage, FAQ and terms, read in October 2026:
- Rate per 1,000 counted visits, by country. It varies tenfold between countries; a headline "up to $20" is the top country, not your average.
- What counts as a visit. Repeat visits within 24 hours pay less or nothing; ad blockers, VPNs and proxies often disqualify the click.
- Minimum payout and methods. A low minimum and a method you can use where you live decide whether small earnings ever reach you.
- Where you may post. AdFoc.us bans social media and messengers; all six ban bots, bought traffic and self-clicks.
- Who runs it. Only AdFoc.us names a company, which matters if a payout is withheld.

AdFoc.us: the top US first-visit rate, then a steep drop
AdFoc.us Limited runs one of the older paid shorteners. Its payout rates page is the most detailed: rates per 1,000 clicks by country and by visit number within 24 hours. A US first visit pays $19.25, the second $5.78 and the fifth and later $0.96. Canada pays $13.65 for a first visit, the UK $12.95, India $2.10, Indonesia and Vietnam $0.35, and most of the world $1.40.

Payouts go to PayPal or Bitcoin once you pass $10, monthly, after a check for Terms violations. The Terms prohibit posting links on social media and instant messengers, traffic exchanges and paid-to-click sites.
Pick AdFoc.us if you have first-time visitors from high-paying countries. The downside: repeat visitors pay a fraction of the headline rate, much of the world under $1.50, and social media is off limits. Details in our AdFoc.us review.
Clk.sh: $5 minimum, daily payouts and clear visit rules
Clk.sh has run since 2018 and names no company. Its payout rates page lists $15 per 1,000 views for the US, $13 for the UK, $11 for Australia and Canada, $6 for Germany and $3 for the rest of the world. The homepage's "up to $30" is Monaco.
Clk.sh is the most explicit about what it pays for: one paid visit per visitor per 24 hours, the visitor must reach the destination, have JavaScript and cookies enabled, and not use an ad blocker, VPN or proxy. The minimum withdrawal is $5, to PayPal (5% fee), Binance Pay, USDT, AirTm, UPI and others. The homepage promises payment within 24 hours; the payment proof page says within 4 days.
Pick Clk.sh if you want to know exactly which clicks count. The downside: lower rates than most here, a captcha and timer some visitors abandon, and nothing for ad blocker or VPN visits. More in our Clk.sh review.
Cuty.io: flat country rates and adjustable ads
Cuty.io says it operates from Morocco; no registered company or address is published. Its payout rates are one number per country, the same on mobile and desktop: $18 per 1,000 visits for the US, $15 for the UK, $12.75 for Canada, $12 for Germany, $2.25 for Egypt, India and Vietnam, and $4.50 for every other country.

It stands out for control over the visitor experience: you choose the ad intensity and can add your own logo. Withdrawals go to PayPal, USDT or Volet once you reach a minimum the public pages call "very low" without a figure. It pays only "legitimate visits", without defining them.
Pick Cuty.io if you care about not driving readers away and your audience is in Western Europe or the Gulf. The downside: no published company or minimum. See our Cuty.io review.
DropLink: highest listed rates outside the top countries
DropLink names no company or address. Its publisher rates page lists the highest numbers here for most of the world: $20 per 1,000 views for the US, $18 for Canada, the UK and Australia, $17 for Germany and Brazil, $10 for Indonesia, Bangladesh, Mexico and Spain, $9 for unlisted countries, and $6 for India and Vietnam.
Payouts go to PayPal, USDT, local wallets such as bKash, DANA and UPI, or bank transfer, with a $2 minimum on the homepage (the smallest withdrawals on its own payment proof page are just over $5) and payment in 2 to 3 days.
Pick DropLink if your audience is in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Brazil or Mexico and you want a local wallet payout. The downside: the rates page doesn't say which views count or how invalid traffic is handled, so treat the table as a ceiling. Our DropLink review has the details.
Exe.io: $18 US rate and on-demand withdrawals
Exe.io has run since 2016 and names no company. Its payout rates page matches Cuty.io's: $18 per 1,000 views for the US, $15 for the UK, $12.75 for Canada, Germany and the UAE, $2.25 for Egypt, India and Vietnam, and $4.50 for every other country.

A view counts when the visitor is unique within 24 hours and stays at least 6 seconds. Per the FAQ, you withdraw to PayPal, Bitcoin or USDT (Polygon) from $5 as soon as you pass the minimum; the payment proof page shows amounts before a 3% payout fee.
Pick Exe.io if you want top-tier rates and to cash out on your own schedule. The downside: only three payout methods, the 3% fee and no named operator. More in our Exe.io review.
FC.LC: $3 minimum and daily payments
FC.LC names no company or address. Its payout rates page lists $12 per 1,000 views for the US, $11 for the UK, $10 for Canada, $6.50 for Germany, $4.10 for India, Brazil and Mexico, $3.80 for Indonesia, $3.55 for unlisted countries, $1.50 for Vietnam and Egypt, and $0.50 for Russia. The headline $20 is Greenland, and the page warns that rates move with FC.LC's ad income.
Payouts are daily from $3 to PayPal, Payoneer, Payeer, Airtm, Bitcoin, WebMoney or USDT, useful where PayPal isn't.
Pick FC.LC if your earnings are small and you want them out fast. The downside: US and UK rates well below the others, rates that can change at any time, and no named operator. See our FC.LC review.
How much can you realistically earn?
Earnings = counted visits ÷ 1,000 × the rate for your visitors' country. At list rates:
| Your traffic | AdFoc.us | Clk.sh | Cuty.io | DropLink | Exe.io | FC.LC |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 US first visits | $19.25 | $15 | $18 | $20 | $18 | $12 |
| 1,000 visits from India | $2.10 | $3 | $2.25 | $6 | $2.25 | $4.10 |
| 1,000 visits from Indonesia | $0.35 | $3 | $4.50 | $10 | $4.50 | $3.80 |
Dashboards show fewer paid visits than clicks: repeat visitors, ad blockers, VPNs and quitters reduce the count.
Never buy traffic, use bots, traffic exchanges or paid-to-click sites, or click your own links: a ban usually wipes the unpaid balance. Test a small withdrawal first. For other small online income, see bandwidth-sharing apps.
Frequently asked questions
What is the highest paying URL shortener?
On published rates, DropLink lists the most for most countries ($20 per 1,000 views for the US, $9 worldwide), with AdFoc.us close behind for US first visits ($19.25) and Cuty.io and Exe.io at $18. Published rates are a ceiling: what you earn depends on how many visits each service counts.
How much do URL shorteners pay per 1,000 clicks?
From about $12 to $20 per 1,000 counted visits from the US down to $0.35 to $6 for low-paying countries, depending on the service. Repeat visits, ad blockers and VPN users usually pay less or nothing.
Are paid URL shorteners safe for my visitors?
Your visitors see an ad page, often with a timer or captcha, before the destination, and ad networks on these pages can be aggressive.
Which URL shortener has the lowest minimum payout?
DropLink lists $2, though its own payment proof page shows withdrawals from about $5. FC.LC pays daily from $3, Clk.sh and Exe.io start at $5, AdFoc.us at $10, and Cuty.io calls its minimum very low without publishing a figure.
Can you make a living from link shorteners?
Rarely. At list rates, 10,000 US first visits a month pay about $120 to $200 and 10,000 visits from India about $20 to $60. It works as a small extra for traffic you already have.
