What is SimpleSwap?
SimpleSwap calls itself a self-custodial swap aggregator. You send coins from your own wallet for one specific swap, and the exchanged asset goes straight to the receiving address you entered; nothing is kept in an account. Its FAQ cites 2,800+ cryptocurrencies, 3.2M+ trading pairs including cross-chain swaps, and 20M+ swaps processed since 2018. There are iOS and Android apps, card purchases for 30+ coins, and a business API used by wallets such as Exodus, Tangem and Cake Wallet.
It suits one-off swaps without opening an exchange account, and holders of less common altcoins. It is not a trading platform: no order book, no margin, no stored balance.
SimpleSwap fees, rates and minimums
There is no separate percentage fee: the service fee is built into the quoted rate, and blockchain network fees are estimated and can change.

You pay your own wallet's network fee for the deposit. Minimums depend on the pair; the FAQ says some start around $0.50. Below the minimum, a swap can fail and a refund is not guaranteed. Many swaps finish in minutes; 1 to 60 minutes is a rough, non-guaranteed reference.
A free account (email only) joins the Loyalty Program: up to 20% off the service fee and up to 0.4% USDT cashback, growing with volume.
SimpleSwap referral programs
Invite Friends (customers). Account holders get a personal invite link. A new user who signs up through it and swaps receives a one-time 50 USDT bonus; the inviter earns 0.1% of their finished swaps for 14 days. This is a different link from ours.
Affiliate Program (sites, wallets, apps). Per the Affiliate Terms:
- 0.4% of each completed exchange by default; up to 5% via API or Widget (partners must then disclose their own markup); fiat stays at 0.4%.
- Tools: referral link, API, widget, button, banners.
- 30-day attribution window; a later referral source overwrites it.
- Paid in USDT from 300 USDT, within up to 90 days of a request; verification may be required.
- No reward once a referred user reaches Loyalty Level 3.
Limits: restricted countries and KYC
The Terms of Service list restricted locations including the United States and its territories, the United Kingdom, all 27 EU member states, China, India, Japan, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, occupied regions of Ukraine and others. Users must be 18+.
"No sign-up" does not mean "no KYC". Under the AML/KYC policy, any transaction can be flagged for ID documents, source of funds and a liveness check, and funds can be frozen during review. Card purchases may require KYC.
Refunds are excluded for a wrong coin or network, missing MEMO, expired orders or deposits below the minimum; requests take up to 31 days.
